LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR
@ The INVESCO South African Women’s Open . . .

Alice Hewson is about to begin her day. She starts her Friday @ +2, with the Projected Cut currently sitting @ +1. Alice will need a sub-par roubd to play through the weekend.

Alexandra Swayne will begin her quest for weekend play during their afternoon session (around day break here on the East Coast). She has poised herself well for weekend play as she starts the day @ -3.

LPGA TOUR
@ The JM EAGLE LA CHAMPIONSHIP . . .

Savannah Grewal ended her Opening Round @ Even Par and in a T-37th Place. She very easily could have played her way out of “Weekend” consideration, but managed to settle herself and put up a solid round. “Savy” will be playing in the afternoon session in Los Angeles (1:43pm PDT).

Carson Young + Ben Martin will also begin their day T-29th Place.
Jonathan Byrd (Gutschewski) will start @ -4 and T-67th Place.

Keep in mind, today will be Alternate Shot . . . obviously, the harder of the two options.

Our TIGERS will begin their Friday as follows:
Sam Saunders (-8, T-4th Place)
Kyle Stanley (-4, T-50th Place)

The Cut will probably be in the -7 to -8 range . . . All of Our Guys better bring the “Heat” if they want to play all weekend!!!

Looks like Alice and Alexandra will barely slide into the Weekend Play . . . that’s assuming the Cut remains @ +4!!!

Which it indeed did. Poor Alex, tough day. Alice just can't find any feathers but she and Alex can play for a paycheck.

Sam... dangit, he was nearly leading then b2b bogeys. Unless conditions had gotten that bad, Sam had a perfect 150 yard wedge and he pulled it way left... easy for us to do but Sam has hit it good. Anyway, turned a potential feather into a par 5 bogey. At least he can stop and regroup for the back 9 when play resumes. Go Sam!!!!

Waiting game now as Ben, Carson, and JB sadly won't play the weekend. Ben and Carson had a horrible day. Not many good scores. -2 seems to be a good score today. Hopefully Jacob and Chandler have their drivers working.

KORN FERRY TOUR

Congrats to Sam Saunders (-11, T-7th) and Kyle Stanley (-8, T-25th) for making the Cut.

PGA TOUR

Jacob Bridgeman (Phillips) are having a day. Currently -5 through 11 Holes is unreal for an Alternate Shot Day! Currently T-5th place.

MyfavOrange® Guy is sitting squarely on the Cut awaiting others to finish to see if he is playing tomorrow.

LPGA

Savannah Grewal has just begun her 2nd Round (+1 thru 3 Holes). She is sitting directly on the projected Cut (+1) after yesterday’s even par round.

Nope, just a bogey. Savannah will get her a coach, I hope, that will help her increase her drive distance. She's a lot like the uva gal that took Annabelle to the woodshed. Poised and can score with her short game. She'll cut her teeth this year and learn a lot. That's one place I think Alice has hurt herself playing 3 rnd golf.

Anyway, Doc still has a good chance. He'll need to make -8. Ridiculous scores that Kyle will just make the cut.

As for Jacob, it pains me that they finished +4 down the stretch. The least they could have done is birdie 18. I can't believe they tripled the 17th. They were neck and neck with cantley n schefler. They're extremely lucky to be playing this weekend... when they could or probably should have been leading the darn thing.

Jacob's got to learn how to finish. Even the kft he'd get top 5's etc but wouldn't hoist the trophy. Disappointing day averted with baseball, softball, and rowing. Rowing had a couple nice 2nd place finishes.
