Who sees playing time as a freshman at this year at WR? I'm going to guess Noble Johnson due to him enrolling early and his size as well.

I say Noble Johnson due to his size and build, he looked like a veteran WR during spring game size wise. He still has to learn a lot of stuff of course but if any of them play or make a actual impact i think it will be him.

I agree that I only see Noble Johnson being used extensively as a freshman. Brown & Kelly are 3 stars and didn't arrive until this summer. Unless they pull a surprise (which occasionally happens with our new WR recruits), I expect minor appearances that don't mess with their Red Shirt status.

Hanafin is definitely a highly touted incoming & talented 4 Star. However, he was injured last year and only appeared in a couple of games as a H.S. senior. Additionally, he also didn't show up until this summer. If we see a surprise with our true freshmen WRs this year, I would predict it would be Hanafin--However, he would need to show up physically ready & rehabbed from his HS injuries, be a quick study with our new play book, and show an immediate rapport with our QBs on the field. A pretty tall order! I think we'll see some flashes from him this year, but not soon enough to see much playing time this year.

Just MHO, but I'll just wait to see what the coaches determine,

I think Hanafin will contribute, seems like a smart kid that will pick up the playbook and he’s physically ready. Noble Johnson is my number 2.
