dementia and severe anxiety bouts. Not eating well.
My brother is having trouble dealing with it as he’s been an active fisherman until recently.
She wakes up in middle of nite in a panic wanting to go to the hospital. They’ve been to multiple doctors and run many scans but nothing abnormal. He’s having trouble taking care of her and is beginning to admit she may need to go into a care facility.
I told him he needs to also take care of himself.
I’m going to find in home care option for them.
Crap….

We have had really good luck with Comfort Keepers for my mom (and she’s a retired nurse and very picky)

They have offices all over so hopefully they are in his area

Son/DiL own and run it now as well as GVL biz. A frat brother owns the franchise over here in Clemson area. Very familiar with them and already checking out the MB office. Thanks!

I know you know this, but he’s gonna need you. Lots of Alzheimer’s/dementia in my family, and I think the primary caretakers are victimized by the condition as much as (if not more than) the patients.
