I saw a widely read post greatly lamenting the Clemson offense showing vs. Georgia State. Checking the numbers:
---Clemson's 28 points in the 1st half was one of the biggest outputs of the year vs. the GSU defense. Only topped by Georgia Southern and Arkansas State, both who score a lot of points.
---Washington, which is 7-5 and 3rd in their PAC-12 division, scored 0 in the first half vs. Georgia State. GSU was up 14-0 at halftime and held Washington to 73 yards in the 1st half.
---Yes, our offense has some issues. But it must be remembered Clemson calls off the dogs in the 2nd half of lopsided games. See NC State this year. See Georgia State.
Finally,#23 is our new X factor. Him playing improves our chances Saturday and looks to be a match-up problem for Carolina, based on their defense's struggles this year.
