Football Parking - Lot 3E

I'm not sure if this lot was open last year. It's the area between Little John and the Esso. I remember seeing that they had cleared out some of the trees and graded the land some, but cannot remember seeing people park there. Did anyone have any experience with it or have information on it? I'm debating putting it as a preference.

It used to be 2A--or a portion of it did. Not a bad spot at all.

It's been in use for a good while. I know people with higher priority who request it. Not a bad lot at all. The only thing I don't like is that after the rains of 2 years ago, last year they put this coarse mulch in it, not sure how that was to tailgate on.

Yep. Got bumped from Lot 2 to 3E....Upper part wasnt open the first couple games as they finihsed the construction but moved on up toward LJ after that.

Looks like where there was mulch they are trenching as in to put sprinkler system. My guess is there is going to be grass where there was mulch and they will pave where there was gravel. Makes sense as it will be parking for BBall too. If they do all that it will be an awesome tailgating spot.

I parked there last year. The location is great, but I didn't like the landscaping. The ran the trees through an industrial wood chipper and used that material to grade the parking lot. The walking was uneasy and I saw a few twisted ankles. Also, there some rather large pieces that would kick up into the bottom of your car. I had just bought a new car too. Anyways, once it is paved or whatever they decide to do then I am sure it will be great.
