took so long to send his fax to Allbarn. There may have been some reticence on his part. Maybe not.

The resistance was it was taking his "mentor" too long to count the cash!

I think both Adams and Lawson wanted to come to Clemson

so Auburn did what they've made an art form and paid off the parents/handlers. Adams looked anything but comfortable putting on that hat on NSD

I suspect there is truth to that. Wish there were proof, too.

Adams was considered a lock and Auburn was dead to Lawson

until Lawson's father went, by himself, two straight weeks and after Adams last visit. Auburn is being blatant with their cheating, just like Ole Miss, but i doubt the NCAA does anything to them. hey did get away with the Cam Newton debacle after all

I agree 100%. I do believe Allbarn is dirty. It boggles my mind that they got away with the sCam shenanigans. And if they got away with that I would expect they think they can operate that way with immunity from now on.
The fishy thing about MA's decision to me is the very late addition of the "mentor." I don't think he was a mentor at all, just a third party who could take receipt of the cash Allbarn was paying through a third party of their own. Just a little more sophisticated version of the sCam deal.
Now, some whiny nancy boy can call me out for accusing Allbarn without proof. I readily admit I don't have proof of what I'm saying. Still, I'm convinced that's how it went down.

forget Malzahn was there for their previous dirt that never got caught. I think they survived two investigations on scam newton so they have no reason not to do that over and over. It should be surprising if Alabama and Auburn aren't cheating. It's a rich tradition there.
I hope nothing happened since MT and Lawson seemed like such nice kids, but that doesn't mean there's people above them who won't take money.

Proof is all but impossible to get unless someone talks

the NCAA does not have subpena power so it's not like they can demand to see how schools are dealing out their money. Unless some disgruntled player, family member, or booster talks there can be plenty of smoke but they can do very little about it, see Cam Newton again.
