First game in 25 years(ish)-parking help

Nov 2, 2016, 6:42 PM

I'm going to my first game since graduating in 1991 this Saturday with my wife and two kids. We've stopped by to visit Clemson many times driving between ST Louis and Pageland but not on a game day. We already have tickets (and Purple jerseys). After all these years I've got no ideas on parking. Any suggestions on what we should do for parking? If it makes a difference we're headed to Pageland after the game to visit my parents.

Thanks

C-1 on Perimeter Ed or Y-beach are your best bets unless you can buy a pass. Come early or they might be full. It's a different world than what you remember.

Just another option:
Park in shopping center lot on Hwy 123 just west of the CookOut restaurant.
Cross 123 on foot and enter the Clemson City Park. Walk thru the park and approach downtown Clemson from behind the old Astro Theater. This is about a 30 minute walk to the stadium.

I've parked in this free area for about 2 years and have never had a problem. Admittedly, it works for me as my drive home is towards Atlanta and this gives me a easy out totally against traffic.

Bottom line...this is a free area with a guaranteed spot.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

Are there any good options downtown for parking. What about the garage?
