That guy is a tool cowherd learned his lesson last year in calling us overrated that's why he didn't chime in he said he is ok with clemson at 4 haha! But like dude come on you kept saying they propping up Miss st and LSU to help Clemson's resume, we only played Auburn we got nothing to do with Miss st or LSU that's more bama and Georgia yet he kept saying clemson. Yea OU has a good offense but how many times have we seen these gun slinger teams come in and get man handled in the trenches and OU is a poster team of that! We beat them down first playoff game we played they got beat down in the 08 title by a bigger Florida. OU always blows games against the big boys. When they play a defense they will hit a buzz saw TCU will be the best defense they will play all year I hope they slap OU around!

OKLA, for its 8.5 ypc stat, has played absolutely no one with a pulse... and yes, I include O310 as a team without a pulse. If O310 has to play a real football team, they fold like a cheap wallet.
Go pedal it elsewhere, Joel... you said last year that Clemson, the National Champions, shouldn't be in the top 4.

Hate to say it but he's spot on. I think we would beat Oklahoma but based on resume they should be in there.
College football is a beauty contest, always has been, and now maybe even more so....Look at the way they railed on Wisconsin for the majority of the show Tuesday night while ignoring that Alabama's resume is only slightly better.

You should probably lay off the crack pipe.
Clemson's SOS and SOR are both ranked above OU. Clemson has 3 ranked wins pet current poll (4 if looking at rankings when played), OU has 2. 7 of Clemson's 8 wins have been against teams with winning records, OU only has 2. The only thing better on their resume is a better loss, though ours had a QB who entered injured (low ankle sprain) and then was out before Halftime. 1 thing does not trump 3.

Oklahoma was propped each time Clemson played Oklahoma in the bowl games dating back to the 80's. .....And each time Clemson has beat the stew out of Oklahoma.
Why can't Klatt take that and accept it.
Though he has somewhat of a point about the SEC. So having said that he needs to take it up with ESPN and the SEC.
Clemson shouldn't be mentioned in his favortisms to Oklahoma and the Big 12......because as of recent years Clemson has knocked out all their flagship darlings when we were deserving or not.

Maybe the fact that they don’t play defense has something to do with how much the committee doesn’t trust them. They have given up a ton of points, especially recently. And not just to Oklahoma State.

It does have something to do with it...Oklahoma has looked really great against some really mediocre teams. But yeah it will play itself out, a one loss Big 12 or ACC champ will be in and settle it on the field.

NO team with a defense as bad as Oklahoma's deserves to be ranked ahead of ANY of the current top four teams in the CFP poll.

Is it bias that the Big 10 got outscored 69-0 in its last 2 semifinal games, Washington lost 24-7, Oklahoma with Superman Baker Mayfield lost 37-17?
Why should we believe Big 12, Big 10, or Pac 10 will field a competitive team??

So he (a Fox Sports) analyst is criticizing the ESPN/SEC connection and says that is why Clemson is overrated. Instead he (the Fox analyst) says that OU (televised by Fox Sports) should be ranked above Clemson. Yep makes perfect sense to me.

Michigan State. They jumped 12 spots.
Before they lost, Iowa State had jumped way up the previous week.
While there are times that the 'sec bias' is in effect from a promotional standpoint, I'm not sure this week's playoff poll reflects that.

Where was that great Sooner offense when they played Iowa State ? Truth be told and being impartial , Clemson has a balanced football team and Oklahoma is atrocious on the defensive side .
I wouldn't have any reason to complain outside of the sentiment that Klatt views as our being given the 4th spot because the committee " props up the SEC " .

Mind you they have 3 wins over top 25 opponents (most in CFB), 6 wins over opponents with winning records (most in CFB). One may mention the Syracuse loss.
What about Oklahoma? Oklahoma beat, surprise, an extremely overrated Ohio State and survived a shootout with Ok St. Plus, Oklahoma CAN NOT play defense. S&P ranks their defense at 115th out of 130 teams. No CFB champion in the last decade has had a defense ranked lower than 17th (Auburn 2010). Also, remember the last time Clemson played Oklahoma? Oklahoma was ran out of the building in back to back seasons.
TCU? Only 1 win over a top 25 opponent. Highly interested in what Oklahoma will do when playing a team that plays defense.
Miami? Again, only 1 win over a ranked opponent. Pending nothing short of mayhem, Clemson will see them in the ACCCG and all will play out on the field.
Wisconsin? Zero ranked wins, weak conference.
UCF. Zero ranked wins, plays nobody. See a pattern forming here?
The committee got it right except 1 team. Alabama. 1 win over a ranked opponent, please don't even mention 3-5 FSU. Bama is ranked highly on pedigree alone. Don't be surprised if Auburn upsets them come Iron Bowl time or UGA in the SECCG. Plus Bama has a big problem with the injury bug right now.?
The committee has shown since its inception that they value the following: a strong schedule, conference championships, strong wins > bad losses. Clemson is the best 1 loss team in the country off of the aforementioned criteria and deserves the #4 spot.
