Fans who cheer in glass stadiums

I ran across some super obnoxious Georgia fans in Clemson. In your face, aggressive, foul-mouthed fans...mostly students and twenty-somethings.

I was getting ready to ask them to be more respectful as guests, particularly in front of my wife and children. Then I remembered 1991. We had highe expectations that year, were highly ranked and heavily favored...in Athens. I went over there with a buddy, we were both out of school but under 25, and we had a blast trash talking, partying and cursing our way around the Georgia campus. Then, the game started, and we got trounced. My buddy and I snuck out of town with our tails between our legs.

I have been a somewhat more humble visitor since that trip. Sure wish I had seen a few of those punks after the game Saturday, but I'll bet they slipped out of town quietly, too.

and a lady asked me to watch my language. I really hope she doesn't sit anywhere near students/younger folks at the FSU game if my PG-13 "what the ####" got to her.

I was at Carolina wings in Redbank. A woman (Clemson fan) made a complete ####### out of herself. I was embarrsed to be a Clemson fan. I didn't understand why they didn't kick her out. Most people left because they didn't want to hear her mouth any more.

I agree with DSGriff....UGA is the worst. Going there with young children is a recipe for disaster. It's a shame but there you have it.
