Fair warning, guys and gals. If you don't tune in to the Women's Final Four, you

are going to be missing some epic sports. Bueckers vs Clark would be worth the cost of admission anywhere. And on the other side, you have old ACC foes South Carolina and NC State, with the Coots now carrying the SEC banner, and State trying to pull what would be a MONUMENTAL upset for the ACC.

It will be hard for UConn vs Iowa to live up to the standard set last night by Iowa vs LSU. But, Paige Bueckers had every bit as dominant a night against USC as Caitlin Clark did against LSU, minus the grudge factor.

I, for one will be happily watching, and savoring two women players that we are not likely to see the like of, at the same time, on the same court, again in our lifetime. It is going to be epic. To those who say "Meh", it's your loss, not mine.

Hope you enjoy the games but I've said for many years that they could be playing the championship game on my front yard and I doubt I'd open the blinds to check the score.

Yes, that's why very few people are interested.'

I've seen better play in high school games than I saw in an Elite 8 matchup.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

I watched one of the elite 8 games.

It was decent basketball maybe on the level of DII or DIII men's.

The shame is you have to watch two teams playing for a final four berth to see the quality of basketball you'd see in any men's college game.

Fair warning.

An average high school boys basketball team could beat both of these teams.

Its womens basketball. If you watch it just for the drama between girls go tune into Jersey Shore or Real World

It makes a difference in enjoyment level of viewers if the level of athletic ability isn't that high. As a whole, women's sports just aren't enjoyable to the vast majority of viewers, which is why they lose so much money. I make an exception for Olympic gymnastics and women's UFC, but I'm not interested in watching a team I could have beaten back in high school.

Agreed. I never watched it before last year and now I watch it more than the men. The first half of the LSU and Iowa game was awesome. The gap between the top to bottom is bigger in the women's game compared to the men. It seems to be shrinking though. They don't dunk but they shoot and pass the ball really well.

I think a lot of the negative nancies in this thread about the sport would change their tune. (I know they will deny it now). But it's just that our program has been so bad for so long it's hard for Clemson fans to follow women's basketball with the same interest.

Nah, I don't dispute for a second that these women are really good at what they do. But it's not exciting to me. If Clemson's women's team was as dominant as South Carolina's, I still wouldn't watch a single game.

While I hope our Tigers do well, I don't like it. Didn't watch more than 5 minutes of our mens run. It's boring to me. I think that all BBall games should be 5 minutes long. Heck, the last 5 minutes seem to take FOREVER... I would much rather watch grass grow. Just not a fan, but whatever floats your boat.

Not true at all. If we were winning national titles in womens basketball i still would not give a crap. Same goes for other sports

I dont care to watch rowing, lacrosse, field hockey, etc….

I do think womens sports that are elite level are volleyball and softball.

To me women’s basketball just doesn’t translate. I see the same issue watching men’s and women’s soccer. Softball seems to translate better because they have scaled the field and softball pitches are challenging to hit. You don’t have as direct of a comparison to baseball, but you still get web gems in the field despite the slower exit velocity of the softball.

womens sports in general, but yet go out of their way to take the time to make sure their disdain is known. Not sure why that is, but it is readily apparent in replies to this post. Congratulations on disrespecting half the population. Feel better about yourself now? I knew you could.

Some have even gone so far as to paint me as an "Ambassador for Women's Sports". Not at all. But, I am shocked at the number of people who seem to think women can't compete as athletes, or that that competition couldn't be worth watching. Keep 'em barefoot and pregnant, aye? Should never have given them the right to vote, either, I guess. We obviously have not advanced much as a civilization as was previously supposed.

Could they compete on an equal level with the men? No, except in a few exceptional cases. But, you don't see them trying to get into mens events. But you DO see men trying to "identify" as women, and trying to legally compete in THEIR events on a more and more frequent basis. I guess you would root for those people, since you care about men competing, and not about women, right?

Have a nice day! And as the Human Torch would say, FLAME ON!

I mean probably because of the way you posted your comment about womens basketball. You literally worded it like all of us have no idea what we are watching and a “your loss” type deal

If you like to watch it good for you. Just understand that in general womens basketball is not a revenue sport across the nation. Now the final 4 is a draw but in general the sport does not push the needle.
