This is a Tournament Team. Every team goes through a few games of not shooting well and they recover. That's just BASKETBALL !! Overall we played better today than vs. Miami. The shots just did not fall today and that is NOT a coaching issue !! If we finish 12-8 or better in the ACC ( which I think we will) we will make the tournament. We don't have any "bad" losses.

Most of the missed 3's were decent looks. We were 1 for 18 from 3 point range. Most of the misses weren't bricks.

We played solid defense. We had 9 blocks and only a handful of turnovers.

Ian was a total Grown Man out there-16 points, 11 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 blocked shots.

It was a frustrating game as I've never seen a 1/18 performance and that was the difference.

PJ wasn't sodomized by Bacot, but other than that Bacot was all over him down low. The refs were letting a lot go, so trying to pound it down in low was also a struggle.

This was a disappointing finish, but this one isn't on Brownell. He can't shoot for them.

It was also disappointing to see so many in blue in good seats. That really sucks.

The crowd was not nearly as into this game as they were against Carolina Jr.

The sky isn't falling, but we need to win in Blacksburg. UNC is no slouch, and we were certainly capable of beating them, it just didn't happen today.
