My wife has the calendar marked for when tix go on sale so we can get the games we want. We're berm-riders, so it doesn't really matter WHEN we get them, just THAT we get them.
Never been to a lacrosse game and don't really know that much about it, but might try to hit one of those this year, too. Lots of great things happening with Clemson women's sports this year - soccer really set the bar high!

Softball's kind of an oddity because of the popularity to stadium capacity ratio. There haven't been any new season tickets available at all for general sale (or even IPTAY) the past couple of years because they're all sold out and almost all of the holders renew each year. They do have a waitlist, which I got on, but I have no idea how long it is. I'd imagine it may be pretty long. As I'm sure everyone's aware, the stadium is relatively small, so with the demand being as high as it is now space is at a premium. Coach Rittman and others have said over the years that the success and interest in the program has just blown away everyone's expectations, even as optimistic as they were. Someone mentioned in another post that there may be plans to expand the stadium, which I think would be a great idea. I think McWhorter could draw double its current capacity at minimum.
But I'm in the same situation as you, I don't have season tickets (for the reason I just discussed), but with single game tickets going on sale to IPTAY members starting yesterday, I just went ahead and purchased an individual ticket to every game expect for 2 which conflict with lacrosse, and there's 2 others I'm still trying to decide on that partially interfere with lacrosse and gymnastics. So I essentially do have "season tickets," just unofficially because I had to get them one by one. I guess I'm also going to be a "berm rider" because that's where all the individual tickets are.
I love this time of year coming up as a Clemson sports fan because there are so many things going on. Basketball, baseball, softball, gymnastics, lacrosse, track, and even golf and tennis, though I don't follow them as closely. The only downside is that there are so many sports happening all at once that it can be hard to keep track of all of them. On days with multiple games going on at once it can be difficult or even impossible to get to all of them because some of them are happening at the same time. And it'll be even more hectic this year with gymnastics having started now for the first time. Having to decide which game to go to when they're happening at the same time is always tough because I want to be able to watch everything. Decisions, decisions! It's a good problem to have, though. Now that the new sports have been added, this time of year has turned into a complete gluttony as a Clemson sports fan, and I absolutely love it. I try to prioritize the sports that are later in the season and don't have as many total home games, but matchups also play a role. Man, it's tough.
I'm really looking forward to lacrosse as well. I have season tickets, and I can't wait to get to see the new stadium. The pictures I've seen look great, and I love the location next to the lake. I think the tailgate spots are also a cool idea, it'll be interesting to see if anyone tailgates the lax games. The team should be excellent, and I'm wondering if the lacrosse team will soon be having the same problem as the softball team with the small stadium capacity being exceeded by the fan interest. Either way, I agree, I'm stoked for spring sports to start!
