Funny how things work out sometimes!!! So glad we got him though. Dabo is brilliant!!!

On a another note, Lane Kiffin is the biggest ######### beside the OBS

I hate the OBS as much as anyone, but honestly Lane Kiffin is probably a bigger #####.

He bailed on Tennessee after only one year, then threw the whole town under the bus when he left.

He banned a reporter from USC's practice last year for asking him about an injury status. Hey Lane, why don't you focus more on coaching and less on reporters? I don't think the reporter asking a question is the reason you were 6-6, bud.

It puts the Hokies in a bad light, too

Aug 9, 2013, 8:34 AM [ in reply to The joke.... ]

If Boyd's dream was to follow in Vick's footsteps, but he didn't get any offer/scholarship from VT, they missed the boat too. Especially given our record against them since he has been at QB.

Tajh came out GREAT in that deal.

Let's see, who would I rather have for an OC....Bryan Stinespring or Chad Morris????

Silently, across the nation young men and women

Aug 9, 2013, 4:30 AM

bring honor to their universities and colleges through their self-effacement and desires to fulfill their obligations with honor, humility and dignity.

Tajh has been one of these types, for which we are grateful. We must, also, be grateful that the Tajh's across the nation far outweigh those who hold themselves to be above society's standards and thus, bring dishonor to their schools, their families and themselves.

Great read on an excellent athlete and an even more impressive young gentleman/role model. A kid can fool a lot of the fourth estate, but character (good or bad) is always revealed by their coaches, teammates, and peers who are with them in daily activities. Clemson, and the entire state of South Carolina, should be proud of this young man.

One thing that does bother me, is when coaches, players, and other people say that Tajh is humble. He has many fine, sterling qualities, but humility would not be one in my book. When he says (asked or not) that "I think I'm the best QB in college football" or "I think I'm the best football story out there", that is definitely not humility. I'm not implying that it's wrong to be confident, or believe in yourself as the best (especially a high profile QB),.......but that would not be the definition of humility.
