I’ve gotta be honest.

I graduated from CU in 2002. I loved Tommy Bowden (yup, that’s right, I admit it)..mostly because I felt he truly believed in Clemson. I actually doubted the hire of Dabo after Tommy “resigned” but I trusted the AD (who had more to lose than I did).
I haven’t posted in awhile, mainly because I now have 2 kids under the age of 5 and a wife from Canada who would recognize an alien (an actual alien from outer-space, not an illegal-alien) before she would a college football team/player/fan.
I post tonight because I have seen Dabo now in so many YouTube videos (that aren’t posted on ESPN) where he visits individuals in need, or where, in a seemingly coincidental moment, Dabo truly speaks to a person suffering with an illness or any other issue and he connects.
Dabo connects.....
I’m sure it irritates other coaches and even some of our fans who expect us to win by 300 every game...but this guy just gets life, gets our program (see our record under him), and gets our fans.
I have avoided TigerNet for two reasons (stupid ads) and (stupid fans)....but I know that most fans are not stupid. Most know that we better enjoy this run because it could end tomorrow or in 10 years. What should never change is the support we give our program. I am ALL IN. I will be ALL IN until I die.
Go Tigers, beat the Cuse!

I was born in 1975 and graduated in 1998. I only remember bit and pieces of '81. I can dis a happy man knowing Jesus died for a sorrry wretch like me and I got to experience these past few years as a Tiger fan. Bottom line, it's good to be a tiger fan and I am glad my family hates C0*cks

Funny. I didn't like Bowden because I always felt he believed Clemson could not compete with the big dogs on a regular basis. He gave me the impression that he felt Clemson should be happy with 8-4.

Let the newbies (they sure ain't babies) play and gain experience. If they give up yards or points when the win is in hand, so be it. I remember when Oklahoma scored on our defensive bench, commentator had something snarky to say about how Venables would have problems once starters leave. Wrong! Heard Venables interviewed by an Oklahoma radio station years ago and he said that playing the bench was really different "culture" for him. At Oklahoma ,they played the ones as much as possible, period. He went on to say that having more players involved in the games makes them more engaged in the preparation process. In that , we have seen the benefit. Go Tigers!

Is this serious or sarcastic? 50/50 but Bowden was an ego

Maniac named Bowden. No respect for tradition. We wore all orange against Virginia/pergolas in 2003. He got the WEZ started. Dabo completed the Oculus. Dabo wins

I supported Tommy Bowden too, not because I loved the guy, but it's because he was our head football coach.
At the time, I was one who was realistically happy about most seasons. Back then, I kept hearing people saying our players were as talented as any teams in the country. I pointed out the star ratings of our players (I mostly posted on Rivals board back then) and most people said stars didn't matter. Funny how we're happy with 4-star and 5-star players we got now.
That said, when Tommy Bowden was gone and Dabo was hired, I also supported him as I do now and it's because he's our head football coach.
Anyhow, Dabo is different from any other Clemson head coaches. He has me as a fan, no matter what he does from now on.
