NIL collective launch in Clemson today

The NIL collective Tiger Impact was officially launched in Clemson today. The group says they have over $5 million in contributions already and "500+" Clemson athletes targeted for that.
They say they aim to have the NIL donations go to Clemson athletes after the athletes team up and market varying charities. Players they report already on board include Bryan Bresee, Beaux Collins, Myles Murphy, Ruke Orhorhoro, Will Shipley, PJ Hall, Valerie Cagle and Trenton Simpson.
Tiger Impact's listed board includes golfer Trevor Immelman, as well as Brent Beason, Doug Ledba, Kendall Alley, Kevin Gemas and Rich Davies.
From their bio:
"On the day of the 2021 Clemson-Louisville football game, Rich Davies was introduced to Bella Attiso and her husband, a couple from Ghana who run the Nutifafa Shelter, a small charity in Seneca, SC to look after local children whose parents have cancer. Bella, a cancer survivor, noticed how difficult it was for her husband to take care of their children and work two jobs while she was undergoing chemotherapy. Once her cancer was in remission, Bella felt called to help other families in similar situations. Rich was blown away by the work the Nutifafa Shelter was doing and just as shocked to learn how little exposure the group had. Later that day at the Clemson game, Rich and his friends were discussing the new NIL laws for college athletes, and the idea was born. Rich could not imagine a better recipient for marketing support than Bella's group. With a passion to see both success of student athletes in life and flourishing of local charities, Tiger Impact began its months long journey."

Yeah, sounds very promising. I'd like to hear from others what, or how this compares to what others are doing,... As well as Reign. It's all mind boggling to me.

It sounds like a 3rd party collecting money and then paying our athletes to promote “charities”… just our version of the “Garnet Fund” and what TAM are doing (And others). It’s encouraging, at least we are trying to do it a “Clemson” way, by helping charities. It’s not the 30 million TAM has but it’s a start… love it.

Incredible!
I've been a strong critic on Clemson's NIL strategy, but I couldn't have been more wrong.
Is there a way to donate to the collective?

non-athletes who love Clemson athletics but weren't worth a toot carrying or shooting or hitting or putting a ball.
And, maybe some $ for Clemson seniors (aka the old ones in nursing homes)!
LOL & G0TiGERS!

Our top 5 bball players all need at least 50k/year
250k goes a lot further in basketball than football. That could make a HUGE difference in recruiting and performance.

I think I saw where PJ Hall is making $100K a year for Barstool and TCI - The Clemson Insider. If they want to get 4 star recruits or higher need to offer that much.

Unless you are a nationally known player, I don't think you get much of anything from barstool. You get some of their shirts and gear, and exposure. I highly doubt he's getting 100k from TCI, but would be awesome if he did.
Where did you hear that? If he is truly making 100k, I would expect him to stay all 4 years unless he's a literary pick.

And I think that shelter in Seneca is the charity that Valerie Cagle will be supporting/working for.
