Examining The Houthi Defense Strategy

The current situation in and around Yemen has failed to improve. Ships are still being attacked and while the U.S. and its allies have missile defense systems on their ships, it is not enough to deter future attacks. I'm afraid that if we want to achieve the goal of putting an end to the maritime attacks, the U.S. and allies must initiate an amphibious assault against the ground forces launching the missiles towards cargo ships and destroy their weapons supply. Otherwise, the attacks will likely continue until they hold international shipping hostage.

Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.

Why not just turn Yemen into a glass parking lot. No one would care.***

We would be viewed much like Israel is today. Not a good look. However, if we launched a ground attack and executed a change of regime there, then we would have quite the fight on our hands. At least for about 3 months or so. Once we eliminated their ability to repel our invasion, the war would be over.

Winning the Occupation is the hard part

Winning the war would be easy if we went in big and fast. Otherwise, it’ll be bad. Looking at how badly the OBiden Handlers Admin has waffled about and slowed down the Israel / Hamas war, what makes anyone believe that The Handlers would figure it out this time (with the Houthis)?

As for Winning the Occupation, no. That never goes well for the USA any longer, since the American political party that ‘wins’ the fighting war always gets the Heck out of Dodge before the Occupation gets messy.

Nothing the U.S. has done has stopped or will stop terrorism as long as there is hate for non-Muslims. Give the terrorists what they understand, destruction. Our agencies know their leaders and where they are. Use a few well placed smart bombs and just walk away. Don't even provide funding to rebuild anything because they knowingly allow the terrorist to operate there. No wasted lives and no wasted money, just efficiency.

Better tighten up that border to keep the terrorist out of the U.S. Nevermind, that ship sailed when Biden walked into the Oval Office.
Keep your eyes open America - see something, say something.

If only it were that simple. We should not have to answer the call for every terrorist emergence in the world, but whenever you're the most powerful republic in the history of mankind, it sort of comes with the title. Besides, I believe that two MEUs could wipe the floor with the Houthi Rebels. Two battalion landing teams with Air Support could clean house over there and be done within 3 months. Wouldn't cost as much as allowing trade to be choked off. The reality is this, if the U.S. and its allies do not address the Houthi rebel's behavior then other rivals will begin to imitate their behavior to gain leverage over U.S. global influence and attack U.S. interests. As much as I wished it weren't so, I have the feeling that the U.S. will face a broader war if they do respond and an even worse scenario if they don't. It is sort of a pick our poison scenario. However, doing nothing is far worse.

We aren’t powerful anymore. Don’t you get that? We have been castrated. Just like the men who claim to be women that we have empowered.

The Houthis are financed with American money via Iran.

and stopped Israel from ethnically cleansing Gaza. I don't have high hopes, but with Joe finally calling for a ceasefire, we might actually see if they were telling the truth. If the end the blockade upon a ceasefire, it means we escalated the conflict for nothing.

I'm with you on that. I mean, it's a shame that all of those children died from Israeli airstrikes. To think, they would have been used as suicide bombers by Hamas anyway. Either way, they were in a bad predicament. While I don't agree with Israel's overall strategy, I refuse to yield the moral high ground to the Palestinian people who use small children as martyrs and then claim a victimhood to the rest of the world. Any organization that straps explosives to small children to advance a political, religious, or Theo-political agenda can never be proclaimed as the victim. I speak from experience in actually serving in combat against such scumbags.
