Is Morris that stubborn or just stupid? You would've thought Morris learned from the FSU game that running from the shotgun in short yardage situations doesn't work. The only chance you have in the shotgun inside the one is a pass or some kind of trickery. The last play of the game proved that we have a quarterback that is capable to go under center. If they would've run that exact play at the other end of the field, that would've been a TD... 27-17 game over! Yes, Morris has brought Clemson some good recruits and he can show off his great skills (if you wanna call it that) against the cream puff teams, but he still hasn't showed me he can call a good game against a good defense. The only one that comes to mind is the LSU game and anybody with a brain would know that luck was involved in that game at the end.

And how about the 4th and an inch play. Same call same result which ultimately led to the Cardinals last touchdown. This high school football mentally is wearing!

Both.
While I like Chad,I think his play calling has cost us a couple of games,
most notable being Carolina last season.
Every Carolina fan I have spoken too still is perplexed as to why we
abandoned the run last year.
And I too question a lot of calls in yesterday's game.
I was not able to watch the game on tv,but listening to the radio broadcast( which
needs a good deal of improvement as well but that's a different matter)every time Cole went to the line ,it seemed Chad had him lined up in the shotgun.
Granted,Cole was coming off a week with no practice due to an injuried shoulder,but dang,even I could hand off to a running back from the direct snap under center.
And if the running back couldn't pick up the needed yard,then I would have to question our recruiting with the offensive coordinator.
