Did Saturday change anyones mind on Amir Trapp?

Nov 6, 2017, 1:42 PM

I know we were extremely thin in the secondary and that's the ONLY reason Trapp saw the field...But he is quite the liability. Every single play he was on the field he got burnt. I mentioned this last week on a post and people didn't like it...well lets face it, Saturday confirmed that he shouldn't be on the field. The coaches know it, so it was a relief when I saw McCloud in there instead of Trapp.

Venables even cringed when someone asked him how it was having Ray Ray and Trapp in there at the end of the game. Next man up is the way it is, but lets hope we get healthy on the back end sooner than later.

Go Tigers!

I'm sure he won't learn a thing from watching film on his

first significant opportunity, on the road and in a hostile environment. I mean we really didn't need his block on RR's punt return either.

his belt he will be fine. But for now, he's an extreme liability.

Exactly, hes a good special teams player

I agree he will learn from his mistakes, and he's great on special teams, just not in coverage. My point of this was to see if people changed their minds on him after Saturday. Because last week no one was expecting a drop off with him in the game

Well after that first td he wasn't in till the end of the game and he got beat so they put in Ray Ray. I have no problem with him obviously hahah just got a lot of you know what for saying he was going to be a liability

We can all think a lot of things, but saying that about one of our own who is very young on a public forum seems like something we as Clemson family shouldn't do.

I don't think it's the least bit humorous. It doesn't help the State receiver was almost a foot taller, but that's gonna happen. It's called exploiting a weakness. Amir tried...and the team's hands were tied at the time. Yet....Clemson won.

Mud-slinging sucks.
