No consistency, no intensity, no accountability ! We look lethargic and uninspired. Cagle hasn’t been herself for weeks. She looks tired and / or burned out. Something happened or is going on behind the scene. Maybe an issue with coach / coaches ? Rittman may have over used and put too much pressure Cagle ? If he is the great coach we have all been led to believe, he better figure it out here pretty fast. This boat has a lot of holes and is in danger of sinking ….. fast !!

They are still 16 in RPI. They definitely need to get it together. This team was having fun every game last year even in their struggles but seem to be feeling too much pressure. I hope they get it turned around. Right now they wont host but could still with a month left.

I don't think they've been bad enough to put themselves in jeopardy of being left out of the tournament entirely, but they're certainly not trending in the right direction. If they keep playing the way they have been they'll probably make a regional but not as a host. However, if they really fall off a cliff and start dropping a bunch of ACC games then that could change. Either way, it's been a pretty disappointing season thus far given what was expected at the outset.

Posted above, looks like they fell to 16. They need to gett their mojo back. Cagle is not herself for some reason. I would love to know where the dynamics are failing with so many returning players.

This team lost alot in hitting, base running, and defense with the graduation of Miklesh, Davenport, and Jacobson. I think Jacobson was 2nd in HRs last season. Miklesh was a great leadoff hitter and basically a minute away from standing on secomd if the base was open. Davenport played third base aggressively. Made strong plays moving forward and laterally. Rittman hasn’t recruited starting replacement except for Moore. Logoleo and Vieira have mostly regressed in the field and at the plate.
Wait until next year, then the drop off will be even more obvious. Duncan has hardly pitched, and struggled when she has. Bench players like Ruszkowski and Marena Knowles simply aren’t P5 caliber players. Julia Knowler’s situation is concerning. Got back into the lineup for a couple games and was lost at the plate. Now she’s out of lineup again. I’d wouldn’t be surprised if she’s transfer out prospect.

The announcers continue to proclaim this team as somewhat of a juggernaut and OK City bound? I just don't see it. Other than a bunch of world class high fives, goofy hats and childish silliness, there doesn't seem to be much spark here and a few lackadaisical attitudes by supposed leaders. Sickness, injuries, horrible base running coupled with power hitters becoming opposite field slap hitters all of a sudden. Weird year, I guess.
