With our current backfield, he wasn't ready to sit. Hope he does well, but doesn't get the big head

I don't know what his reasons were. His recruitment went on for some time. I think he ran from being compared to his brother.

That is what I was thinking - being compared to Travis.

Nah. Playing time was probably biggest factor. Playing time = exposure = money (NIL or NFL Draft). By the end of the season it was pretty clear touches would be limited with us.

He wanted to go his own path. That's why he didn't follow Travis to Clemson.

The main reason that was given is that he wanted to play in Florida to be close to Travis.
