Esso Club (in todays world)

Just had their meat & 3 for lunch, which was good as always. I noticed that they still had Bud Light signage displayed. Mainly because of Rodney I guess. My question is, are we supposed to boycott establishments that sell Bud Light or just not purchase BL?

I'd hate to be sitting there eating my country style steak, rice & gravy, corn and cantaloupe and somebody comes in and starts shooting all the cans of BL.

I just don't know the correct protocol in todays world.

I wouldn't boycott an establishment that still sells BL. Now if an owner runs off at the mouth like Garth Brooks did then F him and his bar.

Yep, if you wanna talk to Coach Ford, just show up at Dyer's for lunch any day they are open. Possibly even at breakfast time too. Just a good friend and neighbor to everyone.

Kid Rock whos been one of the biggest outspoken proponents of Bud Light still sells it in his bar/restaurant. I dont think it really matters. Just do what you want to.

Me personally I like drinking Deer Park bottled water instead of budlight bottled water.

I’ve been boycotting Bud Light for ~ 20 years

That’s when I started making enough money that I could afford to drink something that doesn’t taste the same coming out as it does going in.

if I want Bud Light I'll drink it, If I don't I won't. I don't buy something because of a commercial or social media or whatever. I just buy what I want. Not trying to take a shot at anybody just saying freedom of choice is something we all should have. Going to party at the point tonight and have Sweetwater IPA. Bud Light won't even be an option to turn down. Gonna be hot out there, I'm sure the IPA will be cold and delicious.

its too much to go around boycotting everything. If I like it I consume it, if not then I dont. If you boycott based on social issues then you better start raising your own food and making your own clothes....

to be less political.

The world will be a better place when other don't give fuel to those trying to politicize everything. Just quietly go about not buying something if you don't agree with their principals, agenda, etc.

It's time to make politics go away.

Now that is an admirable goal! I guess we need some politicians to run on the platform of making politics go away.

Just like with anything else you have to pick your battles. I don't buy Bud Light but I haven't been anywhere yet that didn't have it as an option. Every grocery store sells it so unless you want to go hungry or grow your own you have to pick your battle.

march to my own drum as most of the replies tend to do.

Just noticed that Costco stopped selling BL. Maybe fake news, IDK.

I'm curious if all the BL bashers will boycott Esso Club because of their personal beliefs OR still go to EC because it's the place to be before/after a game.
