ESPN Adapts Production Plans to New ACC Championship Home

ESPN plans to deploy more than 20 cameras to capture Saturday’s game, including four Sony HDC-4300’s running in 6X super slow motion, Skycam, an aerial camera, robotic cameras in the goalposts, and a handful of hard and RF handheld cameras. In addition, ESPN will deploy eight pylon cams on the goal lines and back corners of each end zone.
“[Pylon cam] is something we do only for really big games,” says Mobley. “We’re kind of throwing the whole kitchen sink at this game. We’re putting all of our resources into it; if you add those up, we’ll have over 50 cameras there for the game.”

I assume if they slow motion our game 6X it would look like an normal sec or b1g game...

if they do, most of ESPN will be slower than the card chip-readers that came out when chips were first put on cards. They were soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......
and I know of a few terminals that ate cards(bad case of the munchies...)

Doesn't matter. Watching Cain blow by DB's is enjoyable whether it's realtime 1/10th of a second or ultra slo-mo and it takes an hour. Result is the same.
Coulda used those cameras last week. Coots quit so fast I missed it. They have any 10 billion X slo-mo cameras?
