Elite Team Crap?

Keep seeing posts about the 'elite' teams and who and who ain't...132 teams...some matter some will never matter, a few new ones moving in...nothing really matters but power 5, others are wanna be and slip ins and when they do they get their as**s waxed! In the well principled past a double digit win season is a top tier program... 24 last season and 8 of those were from non power five! Eleven + win seasons are super elite..12 last season and 4 probably didn't matter...so what now we come to the spoiled brats of CCC...if we don't make the CFP we are somehow not elite...Conference Championships don't matter anymore...lost to ND and UofSC and the sky is falling and if the truth be known we don't deserve an 'elite' coach cause we have a 1/2 As**d fan base...stick to specifics...Georgia may win this year but they have not for many years before or made the CFP..are they not blue blood...As far as I can see from the credentials there maybe 7..Bama, Jawja, OSA,Okla, Clemson and sometimes Oregon...there are several wannabe's Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas, Washington, FSU, Auburn and maybe USC...some of these are goofy because they have not done squat in the CFP! If we're not elite then 7 of the others fall completely out...once or twice at the Greenwood S.C. ballet to watch Swan Lake does not make you a ballerina!...give it a rest...it's also a full moon every 28 days!

This team is not elite. You could say that Clemson as a program is.

Any time you can win 11 games in a power 5 conference and do it consistently you are by definition elite...look up CFP on wikipedia...they start out extolling Alabama & Clemson...nobody`s mother or the poultry farmers are even mentioned!

This year even with a second tier QB compared to the top teams in the ACC which is our chosen tribe we were `elite`...everyone has issues we will both get over ours...Frank Howard never had an elite team by any of the measures that you propose...I still say that there is nobody in theCFP that I would rather have coaching this soon to be elite team than Dabo!
