God's work is amazing in so many ways. This is just one example. The million dollar view is not bad either.
The first laid should start hatching today. The eaglet inside will start pecking at the egg to get out. It may take a while.
The eaglet does not appear instantly from the egg. It takes some time to peck its way out. It is a slow process.
During the first two to three weeks after hatching at least one parent typically remains at the nest.
If you have a smart tv or Roku, bring up You Tube, NOT YOU TUBE TV, Repeat NOT YOU TUBE TV, on your tv. In the search block, type in Big Bear Valley Eagle Cam, and it will bring up the nest. Click on that and you can watch the nest on your tv. You will be surprised at how much better the nest and everything looks. You will get a much better idea of how big the nest is and how strong the wind is blowing.
Weather yesterday was windy and light snow. This week the weather is supposed to be sunny with some clouds but no snow or rain.
Shadow is spending 2-3 hours on the nest. He would spend more time if Jackie allowed.
