When half of you don’t even understand what Dabo has built Clemson to. If yall think a school who’s done nothing in football and doesn’t touch Clemson in terms of national brand/ratings will have a say in keeping Clemson out of a conference I have a bridge to sell you. This isn’t the Clemson you grew up with and a couple of off years doesn’t change the fact of what Clemson has now become. Also incase you’ve been in a coma “cultural/regionality” no longer matters in college football, the only things that matter are revenue/eye balls.

have been mine since Day One of this brouhaha.

Now, toss in another argument, regarding the SEC. How patently stupid would it be for the SEC to yield territory in their own backyard to the B1G or any other conference? Want to see B1G schools playing sports every week in the South? How about Ohio State or Michigan or Penn State in the real Death Valley? Think one word: RECRUITING! Anyone that thinks the B1G won't go root hog and die promoting their brands in the South via a huge "in" with a Clemson and/or a FSU as members are fooling themselves.

Meaning: I suspect Clemson has already done its homework, making sure it has a home prior to launching this lawsuit. AND, I think it's with the SEC.

You make some great points. And I have been saying the same all along. Playing in the BIGwhateverthenumberis makes no sense for Clemson.
