Dont overlook the dynamic that Brown/Stellato

Are currently bringing to this WR core. They are very skilled but they are going to force the other guys to put up or shut up. For the past couple of years WRs have been able to just kind of lolly gag on some plays due to no worries of being replaced. With guys coming in that hungry they’re going to have to flip the switch to be able to stay on the field. Saw that this past Saturday with Randall, Stellato ended up taking his reps after the first quarter. Competition in that room isn’t something we’ve had in quite some time and I fully expect it to help this offense keep churning full steam ahead. Riley has said multiple times that he has to get the best players on the field and we are starting to see the fruits of that.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing watching the game this past weekend.

We need a similar dynamic in the tight end room

When The Big Weigh In showed Briningtool only gaining 2 pounds during the off season to get to 232 pounds, a red flag went up.

So far this year, he hasn't lived up to the billing.

Loved the highlights tape of Olsen Patt Henry.

Been pretty disappointed in that room really thought he was going to breakout this year. Olsen Pat Henry is legit I wish we could get him on the field more, that’s one kid I really hope doesn’t transfer he’s a monster.

Well how is he sitting and not being a factor if he is so great?

He’s probably not ready which most freshman aren’t, and we aren’t lining up 3 TE. The kid has crazy talent though you’ll see when it’s his time. Most likely is working in blocking assignments.

Get the tight ends competing and involved. What if we could have landed that Bowers from GA. Now that guy is more than a tight end... he blocks, he runs great routes, he catches the ball, any ball he can reach, and he runs over and around people. Heisman for Brock Bowers.

They all seem to be competing but honestly after these past couple of years if they want to transfer let them go. We need guys that are willing to go out there and fight for the ball.

Same and the truth of the matter is

Swinney would love to roll guys in and out of the game like we were doing a few years ago. There’s plenty of opportunity for any backup wideout at Clemson willing to put in the work. Chances are that if they leave, particularly in a situation like we currently have, it’s because they’re not willing to compete.

Exactly it’s time to weed those guys out, one of the biggest things that have plagued this offense has been effort imo.

Wesco and Moore will immediately send two to the back of the line. They better hustle if they don't want to be one of the two.
