Dude, we were just cruising upstream. My buddy left his trolling motor so I was giving him a tug job. We decided to slow down and fish on the way upstream (under power from my trolling motor). I throw on the edge of a grass line. Nothing about this spot says fish but what the heck. I make a few cranks and SLAMO!!!! Big fish on!

She jumped about 4 times, my net gets hung in a hook, my buddy is right there so he hands me his net and I pull her in.

So this makes I think 4 trips for me. 3 of the 4 trips I have caught a fish over 3 lbs. It takes a lot of casting, but when it happens, it is beautiful.
