Would a UGA loss to the Gamecocks be good for Clemson?

Would that eliminate the hairy dawgs from the national championship picture?

What a pipe dream! I wish the coots could beat Georgia! Too bad they both can’t lose.
But, when the dust settles...after Gawgia runs through the coots non existent
offense and defensive lines...It can’t be helped...The Athen A-holes will come
out on top.

No. Athens will still be too close to Clemson.

I don't think it really matters.

If Georgia is bad enough to lose to South Carolina, they probably aren't good enough to make the CFP.

And if they just have an off day and the stars align for the Coots, and Georgia loses, I don't think that would keep the Bulldogs out of the playoffs if they win the rest of their games.

Do you even watch college football? You couldn’t be more wrong and it was proven as recently as 2019. Georgia’s only regular season loss was to South Carolina. Which put them at number 4 overall and their loss to No. 2 LSU knocked them out of the CFP. Had they not had the terrible loss to South Carolina they would have entered the SEC championship game as the overall No. 1 team and would have almost certainly stayed in with a loss to LSU. So yes, we know with certainty that the Georgia losing this game would have tremendous repercussions.
