I’ve seen it happen once in my life. It was the Panthers first season played in Death Valley. Seems like they were playing the Jets and a Panthers LB (maybe Sam Mills) intercepted the shovel pass and returned it for a TD. Rare indeed. Can’t believe DJU did that.

I’ve seen it a few times. With all the traffic around that play I’m a little surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

In last year's game at South Bend, DJ and Travis screwed up and the Irish backer picked it off and ran it in for a td. Not exactly the same, but similar.
