Whoever thought there was a comparison between Ben and Luke were only looking at the acronym relating to position, "LB"! Ben was a great college LB who was in the perfect system for him and worked his tail off to get to where he was. Kuechely was an absolute beast, bigger, stronger, and faster.

Shipley is a good versatile college back. He seldom makes people miss tackles and too often goes down at first contact. I think he will play a number of years in the NFL but he isn't going to be a star running back. Also I would love for him to prove this wrong.

Why do you think he’ll play “a number of years” in the NFL? I Want nothing but success for Clemson players but if you don’t make people miss and too often go down on first contact, you don’t make the active roster of an NFL team.

Somehow we were told or thought he would have blazing speed which I never saw ( and maybe I got the wrong impression). I wish him well, but CMC is on a whole different level.

McCaffrey was the best player in the country. Any real comparisons ended quickly after Shipley got to college.

Lol not remotely close.... McCaffrey is ripped and much faster. I'm not sure Shipley even makes a team. A great kid and Tiger and I appreciate everything he gave to the team.

Very close...Mac had some real issues when he was injured...Shipley had to suck it up and play thru the injuries and survive thru the DJ!

Will Shipley will find out that he has made a HUGE mistake in leaving for the NFL this year rather than playing one more year and putting up good numbers next year and then go to NFL!

Christian had about 7,000 total yards in three years of college ball. Wil about 4,200. Both scored 33 touch downs. McCaffrey's yards per carry and yards per reception were also better. He's already scored 81 touch downs in the NFL. Wil first has to be drafted and then he has a ton of catching up to do. I don't see it happening. Hope I'm wrong.
