Absolutely not -- those boys played a different game,than the ones we have now -- I can only hope,that with all that is going on, with college football right now __ Dabo can figure out a way to put together more teams like back in the day ______ the Tigers played some of the best ""college football"" we have ever seen

those games, will be etched in my memory, till I check out of this world***

College football rosters have become totally hit-and-miss. So many factors have to come together in a SINGLE year to assemble that coveted championship squad.

Even then, you may go undefeated, win your conference championship and STILL not make the playoff, e.g., FSU.

I suspect that the present environment will effectively equalize across the TOP TEN teams, who will at the very minimum have the money to attract the “perfect players” for that season’s roster holes.

The “talent gap” will become SO GREAT for the #11-#20 teams compared to the Top 10 teams, expanding to TWLEVE teams will be too many teams, with the #9-#12 seeded teams really getting blown out.

Eight (8) playoff teams will be enough.

Best of the Dabo era IMO.

Obviously playmakers all over the field too... You would have to look pretty hard to find anyone on our 2023 offense that would start on those 2015-2016 teams.

Deshaun had complete and total control of that offense. He also threw guys open and fit it in low into tight windows. And had an uncanny ability to know when time was up and he needed to step up or move out. He did not bail out backwards and throw off the back foot much. He stepped in to his throws.
