What i find hard to undedrstand is there has been signs since the ND game in DJ first year...
First lets start with his RPO reads.... He is to deliberate to hand off or to keep it... He doesnt feed the defense the fake either way. Go look at DW, TL, Even KB was better at the RPO. He hands it of when he should keep it and keeps it when he should hand it off. In some games he looked like he was intentionally keeping it just to try and make something happen and most the time ended in a loss of yards, when the RB hole was there.
Next designed QB runs.... Can you be so telling that the defense knows its a run as soon as the ball is snapped. He is stiff, doesnt have patience to read the defense. Just takes the ball and run the designed direction every time. No his downhill running was ok for defenses that had bad run defense.
Now lets get to his Screen passes.... No touch what so ever... you didnt know from one to the next weither you was getting a Bullet, Duck, Lob, or AIR BALL. I bet his screen pass completion % is in the 30 to 40's at best.
Pocket Pressence is something a Pocket passer such as he was deemed to be should have. He has really poor decision making when it comes to staying in the pocket, moving up in the pocket, or just plain getting out of the pocket. His shotgun snaps he still takes the to 5 more steps back. HELLLOOOO thats why its a shotgun snap....one maybe 2 steps to get rythm. He would stand there knowing the pocket is closing and soon as he gets touched by his OL or the defense then try and move. TOO LATE!!!!
Reading the the field for the open man. He will overlook an open man for a 5 yard pass to try and get something more downfield. Straight up misses open recievers becuase of looking down another thats not open. Does not use check down recievers soon enough which puts them only getting no gain or 1 or 2 yards.
Down field passing is ok but due to pocket presence his throws are errant and almost always to direct. Some throws are ment to have loft under them to allow the reciever to run under them or at least go up over a defender and get them. Alot of his throws were 25 to 30 yard bullets that get broken up because there within the defenders grasp. This all goes back to having good touch with the ball.
I personally think we should have lost more games than what we did. To many times our defense bailed DJ out for 4 quarters to keep him in the game. I understand coaching is difficult and thats why its not for everyone... but when a fan base can see all of these issues and talk repeatedly about them and on a daily basis... I think it all needs to be a wakeup call for aour coaching staff all together. A duck is a duck no matter how you try and look at it.

please say that again.
I was never on board. His energy stole the energy that the Clemson Offense lived off of.
The production was handoff 6 ND game 1 that progressed into pick 6 vs UGA.
I like DJ. but business is business and this management decision to keep an employee on staff that should have been fired did cost Clemson a CFP birth. (in other words, significant $$$ and reputation)
Dabo had to damage control this. We will be fine. But the truth is we took a hit.

dead horse? DJ has moved on, isn't it about time you do the same? Perhaps FGF or Eleben Warriors would be good landing spots for you?

Because I am not only pointing out erros in judgement from DJ but also our coaching staff. They should have seen this. Next because were 2 weeks out of losing to the GAMECOCKS because of his in ability to get us down the field late in the game....regardless of the fumbles.
I was born and raised in Westminster SC. I have been a Tigerfan since i was old enough to understand them to be a college football team. Ive been a fan since the 80's and forever will be a fan. Thats why i continue to post things about the team I have grew up watching.

we are still feeling the effects of what has happened.
There is a HUGE possibility we would be BACK in the CFP if other decisions were made - not guaranteed - but a HUGE chance.
I wanna be back in the playoffs.
Do you also ask - WHY are you still talking about not running Merriweather the last 6 plays of that drive ? ? ? - looking at you CTB.
Do you also ask - WHY are you still talking about the Puntrooskie and how SOMEBODY couldn't have been spying Butler on that play ?
Do you also ask - WHY are you still talking about that dropped pass in the endzone at home that would have put us back on the ACC throne (was it Aaron Kelly ?) ? ? ?
It is still extremely fresh & we POTENTIALLY missed out on a HUGE opportunity.
And it's a chatboard with nothing going on for 21 more days.
If we didn't have a doorknob for a basketball coach, we could talk about that, I guess. Like we have been for the last 13 years.

hard work & perseverance & dedication & lots of folks coming along side him as he went - from the greatest college in the ultraverse.
He gets a completely fresh start in life - which are nearly impossible as you get older.
He has made lifelong friends and seen & done amazing things for a 21 or 22 year old.
Lord, we should all be this down.
