DJ and the Offense

From here in the stands of Carter Finley, it appears DJ is still staring down his first option, each and every time. If his eyes go right, he throws right. If he looks left, he is going to throw left.

There doesn't appear to be a progression from 1 to 2 to 3... just stare at 1 until I throw it.

Also, beating a dead horse, I know, we have 6'3" and 6'4" gazelles at most of the receiver spots and we have thrown just one true vertical the entire 1st half, and that gave us a 15 yd pass interference penalty. Would it be too much to throw one of these every other series? We have some of the best WRs in the NATION and we ask them to only run hitches, curls and outs...

Of course, if they are getting crazy pressure with just 4 rushing defenders or simple twist stunts, we have major issues. 4 hands on, 4 eyes off!

Hope we fix it soon....

It will not get fixed in this game. What you see in the first half on offense is what you will see in the second half. Nothing is ever changed at half time. Unlike BV who adjusts to what the other team is doing.
