Hearing a lot about DJ being better than Cade. I can’t stand that talk. DJ did not magically improve into this accurate elite QB this off-season. He’s the same QB he was. We would be much worse off with him. Heard a lot of “DJ beat these ACC teams last year” I think we can all agree that as far as our ACC matchups have gone that we’ve done alright. Wake went into OT last year we got the job done in regulation this year. We did beat FSU last year however they’re a better team this year and we shot ourselves in the foot. Syracuse we had to rally and rely on Shipley to come from behind. So I’d say that this DJ being a better QB crap should be put to rest. He’s not and people are just looking for someone to blame in times of frustration. Oregon State isn’t a contender and won’t be with DJ. Wish him the best but we have our guy and I wouldn’t trade Cade for any qb in the country. Go Tigers

PAC 12 defense is a joke. That’s why they haven’t even contended for a national championship in years.

I’ve said this on other posts…. DJ was a bad fit for our offense. He has talent.. is it elite, time will tell. The beavers seem to have put him in a system that works well for them. Under center, play action, not lots of decisions to make…. Just execute….. he seems to be more comfortable and more accurate… plus the beavs have a pretty decent group around him…. We will see if he can carry a game and a win it on his shoulders.. they have some pretty big games coming up with ranked teams…

I agree though, I would not take him over Cade, and in our offense which requires quick processing and decision making, Cade will continue to get better with experience and as game slows down for him…
