One thing that keeps sticking out to me

All these announcers always mention how good of a job Brownell has done for Clemson.
Has he really? 3 NCAA in 14 years? Are they just saying that bc of his tenure? Sure he’s got the all time win record, but he’s also been there longer than anyone else.

... mainly the failure to pull back on the 3s. Still, Brownell has done some decent work in his years here. First of all, he improved Clemson FT shooting by light years. I remember as far back as Barnes the Tigers could not shoot FTs. Under Shyatt, teams purposely fouled us to put us on the FT line. Second of all Brownell snapped the losing streak at Chapel Hill. We've been far more competitive under BB than with Shyatt or Purnell.

Our FT % yes, but Purnell had us in the NCAA tourney pretty consistently. Brownell’s only successful year in my opinion was his sweet 16 run.
I still feel like we have under achieved this year with the team and talent we have

That is BS
OP was epitome of stacking wins vs patsy teams, struggling through ACC play. He did make NCAAT last three years in a row. But he still has NEVER won an NCAA Tournament game.

Yeah, those are the 2 main things I came up with when I tried really hard to figure out what Brownell has done that is positive.
I can also add: seems to be running a clean program with few issues like arrests, dismissals from the team, etc.
And maybe: it seems like we don't get blown out by 30 anymore. We still get blown out sometimes, but by 15 or 18.

All the announcers, including the ND homer who called last night's game, continue to say "Get the ball inside to PJ hall and Scheifflin." and "PJ Hall needs to touch the ball every possession." and "PJ can make that shot, but that's an empty possession."
CBB never seems to agree, never seems to call for anything of the sort, or if he does, never bothers to to sit players who cannot follow direction.
