Funny how when you suck and can’t be most of your current league the idea of bailing to a better league suddenly becomes quiet.
Dabo sucking this season could have farther reaching consequences beyond this season.

Us playing bad football doesn’t change the fact that the ACC is a decrepit and dying organization. If we don’t get a foothold in the sec/big 10 tv money consolidation we’ll be left behind with the rest of the fbs

We were never a brand brand . We were good at football and popped . We are not a national brand .

It’s probably good news to the SEC, they would rather us come in not winning as much because it means wins for them. It would be harder for us to come in winning and win a conference Championship right away.
Most SEC teams would want us more if we weren’t as much of a threat. In the long run this can help our recruiting, acceptance into another conference. Our facilities, strong program and the best base fans in America are hard to beat anywhere. Notre Dame might be the only one left with more of that with their huge Alumni and traditional following/Catholic connection.
Our culture Dabo has built is amazing and will be strong for years to come.

We are not getting into the SEC. I actually thought we never would . Having two South Carolina teams makes 0 sense unless one of them has a fanbase the size of Ohio state or Texas. We don’t .

I think Clemson is a natural fit for the SEC and I also think it will eventually happen. But...you really think a conference that just brought in Texas and Oklahoma is worried about bringing in Clemson because they too good?
