Sort of. He said best "all purpose" back which is still a pretty big stretch even if we give him the benefit of the doubt being a Clemson man

But if you make the statement you are the best of ANY group you need to be participating in an important event like 40yd dash

I assume he was asked where he'd rank himself among the RBs. Anything but saying 1st would've been the wrong answer even if it's true.

Combine 40 times arent as friendly as Pro-Day

Travis Etienne ran 4.45 at the NFL combine but magically he ran 4.40 at his Pro-Day. A school’s Pro-Day is designed the make the player look as good as possible.
