theoretically.

Haven’t fully understood if Rat’s pass was a lateral or a pass that didn’t go beyond a certain forward point..

but being that it was treated as a fumble (when it was never caught or secured) must mean it was a lateral or lateral pass.

What knows you since I didn’t get a confirmation from those around me since all were screaming & yelling TD!

Real time, I was completely confident it was a forward pass and the TD would be called back, but replay confirmed the pass definitely travelled backwards about a half yard.

Live it looked forward, but I think that was due to it bouncing forward off the receiver’s hands. Review was absolutely conclusive that it not only didn’t go forward but was clearly backward.

No, the defense scored 7 points. They are part of the team too, just like special teams so we didnt really just win by 2. If you only counted the offense's points we lost 7-0 but the team works together to get as many points as possible regardless of who makes them. And yes it was definitely a backwards pass.

Actually it means we shut them out since Capehart was tackled on their lone touchdown (on 4th down)

Also,I don’t think Anderson made the first down on 4th and 1 early in the first half either. He was short by a foot and never made the marker, but the ref spotted the ball on the 40 yard line.
