different games yesterday where the QB went into his slide, and STILL got tackled, ON THE GROUND by the defense, no flag thrown. And one of them, Kyler Murray of the Cardinals, appeared to get at least a minor injury from that play. The announcers were dumbfounded as to how a flag was not thrown. They even commented something to the effect of, "Why slide and give yourself up, if the officials are going to allow you to be hit ANYWAY?" A very good question, which I would love to hear the League Office answer to.
