Practice squad players earn a pretty darn good living...

Players with tenure earn $14,000 per week or $252,000 per season. Players with two or fewer accrued NFL seasons make $9,200 per week or $165,600 per season.
Not to shabby for working 1/3 of the year.

Yeah, after the agents and Uncle Sam takes their cuts, that’s not a ton. Yes, there is a pension and supplementary income opportunities, even for the most fringe pro player, but <$300k for the beating they put on their bodies is insane.

but was recently cut by the Cardinals. He's about the only guy I can think of right now. Derion Kendrick will probably get a shot at the pros in 2022...

One that will will be Derion Kendrick. He is supposed to go in the first 2 rounds. I can't think of any from the past though.

Will his agent hires be as good as those lawyers DK acquired himself or with the aid of the UGA Ath. Dept.? He had some very messy charges to eliminate to be eligible and his legal team did that for certain.

he just couldn't follow the rules and got ran out of the "love shack" out da back by Dabo. He would have stayed and not portaled himself. My point is, that he wasn't using it for greener pastures.

Vinni Circiru... the Jersey wrecker with Pat Cyrgalis (both Jersey boys... tough as nails). Vinnie was almost all-pro LB.
When Tommy Bowden came in, all our FBs became TEs or left. Corey Husley, our biggest O lineman, left early for the NFL b/c Batson had to change the strength and conditioning program from a Tommy West/Nelon Greene offense to one that never huddled all year in 1999.
Our TEs were Pat Cyrgalis, Jason LeMay and walk-on 5'10" wrecker Morgan Woodard... I remember a great play against Missouri when Morgan pancake blocked the All-American Justin Smith who played 14 years in the NFL.
TJ Watkins, a great TE, was moved to OT opposite of Akil Smith.
The conditioning test under Tommy West when you reported to camp was 16 100 meter sprints with 1-minute rest in between. Each position group had different times.
Under Tommy Bowden, the conditioning test at the start of camp was a 1.5-mile run and a 300-yard shuttle to suit the hurry-up offense-type conditioning you would need under a no-huddle hurry-up Bowden/Rodriguez offense.

If you were a Clemson fan in 1998 and cheered for the Tigers, this is nothing. We will be fine, and God forbid if the floor drops out, we had one hell of a run and I will still be cheering for my Tigers on Saturday.
First-world problems....

Not sure what you are getting at. In my mind a better question would be, has any player that transferred from Clemson had a meaningful impact on the team they went to? The answer to that is yes! Very few players make it to the NFL. There are a lot of great college players that just dont have the measurables for the NFL but were outstanding college players - Ben Boulware is one example.

Feaster played a couple of years and DK will likely go in the NFL draft this year. Also it's before the portal existed but Chad Kelly spent 4 years as a backup in the NFL. Other than that no, and the only one that might have a chance is Chez Mellusi at Wisconsin now.

If they had stayed at Clemson this coaching staff would looked out for their future. Feaster may make a good coach but who can he turn to for help. I believe he burned his bridges with the Clemson staff. Muschamp probably can’t help Feaster. Same for Kelley Bryant but he left the best family he could turn to.
Very few players that have hit the TP have found success unless they go to an FCS program. I wish them all the best but I was always told that your first decisions are usually the right ones. These guys leaving Clemson IMO are making mistakes.
Best of luck to you guys who are transferring out. I hope you find green grass on the

I think Dabo would do everything he could for a couple of them that left for the fcs. Maybe Chase, even Hunter Johnson. Maybe KB. Who knows if Dabo ever did, but he should have tried receiver here.

Not that he had anything to do with the current Transfer

Portal, but years ago, Trevor Pryce transferred INTO Clemson after two years at Meechigan. He starred for us for one year, then turned pro and played 14 seasons in the NFL. He made multiple Pro Bowls, and was named a member of the Denver Broncos Fiftieth Anniversary Team, even though he was no longer with that franchise at the time.
I would say he is far and away the most successful former Clemson player that has "transfer" attached to his name in any way, shape or form. Butt, there could be another, he was the first one that happened to creak into my rusty mind.

Johnny Rembert was a juco LB that came to Clemson for 2 years. He made AA his senior year and had several pro bowl years with the Patriots.
