OLED TV’s - Worth the upgrade?

Looking at possibly updating my current 65” Vizzio 4K UHD to a 77” LG OLED TV. Other than the size difference, is the OLED technology noticeably better to the average person and worth the extra cost? I’ve done research and it seems to be, but was curious if the average person watching a football game could tell a big difference. Appreciate any feedback.

My old phone has it badly. Burn in is the only thing keeping me from oled

Burn in only is an issue if you leave it on the same channel

for a long time. Like ESPN with a scroll running for hours.

Plasma had a much worse issue than OLED.

Also video games can be an issue

lots of those screens can cause burn in if you play for long periods of time.

Many newer TVs have pixel reset/refresh or something like that to help stop this btw.

Yes. Especially if the refresh rate is a lot higher

but check how many HDMI ports on the new tv can run a 120 refresh rate. If it's only one, you'll probably want to purchase a 4k 120hz splitter.
