Defense next year looks strong....

If we can get some continuity on offense, our defense should be really strong. Seeing those guys today they certainly look the part. Losing Boulware as a leader will hurt but we certainly have no drop off in athleticism behind him. I am sure Venables will get them dialed up.

One of the other guys will pick up where Ben left off, they always do. Who that leader will be next season will be the man that honored Ben and his leadership with due respect as the senior leader on the defense!!!

Does Shaq Smith start at WILL, or does....

Lamar move from Mike to WILL?

Joseph may move so Lamar can man the middle.

D-line will be tops in the country, top to bottom!

LB will need leaders, but more talent to come.

Replacements needed in the secondary, but should be fine.

Over-all, the defense WILL be better.
--------------------------------------
Offense.

O-line will be the best at any time under Swinney.
Wide receivers will JUST re-load.
Running backs will be a slight concern, but guys will need to
stay healthy.
QB- believe it or not...I don't expect it to be a huge concern.
Manage the game early, and get more control as we go.

I agree with all you say --but a few adds. Look for #43(Smith) to contribute at LB. DBs will be much more athletic and with the pressure we generate will grow into the role. Muse will not skip a beat in replacing Jadar. Ray-Ray will take the pressure off the backs, as he is just a little more explosive as AS. My only real concern is TE--We will really miss JL.JMO.

Well TE and QB... lol.***
