but when we stop conversions and get pass interference calls, etc., it's hard for a D to stay motivated. still doesn't mean our players played well, but there were a few calls that hurt us as well.

I thought our defense, even though weak to mediocre...stepped it up tonight....and when I say stepped it up..I mean enough to hold back some points and give time for our offense to get ahead. All year we've been plagued with not being able to outscore the competition fast enough to leave the competition behind due to our Wet Paper Bag we call a defense. But tonight, if our Offense had been playing like they normally do, this game would have been long over. Defense did their job and went above and beyond...considering how bad they sucked. Offense was non-existent. Nuk not making catches, Boyd never warming up or getting rid of the ball, Watkins? who's Watkins?, the Chad was non-existent, a few bad SEC ref calls but all of it fell on a collection of coaching and offense. Defense wasn't great..but they did a dang good job holding the points back tonight. Gave the offense plenty of breathing room....PLENTY. I'm gonna go cry in my beer.

Our defense has gone from pathetic to very bad- but played as well as expected.Our offense ?? Was Chad Morris interviewing somewhere?Did he take Sammy with him.PATHETIC
