Same point of prosecuting Trump even if he wasn't going to run.
The problem with the justice system is looking the other way with misconduct because it is politically expedient not to set a standard of actual justice because it could be used against you. I'd rather have everybody go down than nobody.

Maybe they are prosecuting Trump and the others it has nothing to do with him running. Maybe it's about breaking the law. With Biden at this stage there really isn't much. Also, do they want Kamala if they did get rid of Biden somehow in his 2nd term?
