JK, but I liked Isbell better as part of that power trio.
Shires is hot AF though, but something about the inflection in her voice is weird to me.

I was going to end up going solo so I sold my tickets (face value, not ripping people off like ryanadidas®). Maybe I'll regret it, maybe not.

I looked at the stubhub recommended price range, and set it a few bucks UNDER the lower recommended price.
They sold in minutes, so somebody obviously got a good deal.
Honestly, I figured I'd end up having to eat them.

I try and sell to only hot local moms.
I sold some extra Panic tickets last summer at a decent loss.
Gave away an Umphrey's ticket and sold LOS and Drive-By Truckers tickets on there as well. I'm hoping the good Karma gets me a hookup on there one day.

Somebody bought one, payed face value.
The second one sold, my phone died, I missed the deadline to ship it, so stubhub gave the money back, plus penalized me the cost of the tickets, meaning that I gave away two DSO tickets for free, and only one got used.
That was not cool.

his solo stuff can most certainly be hard to listen to. I love a good sad song, and I'm generally the happiest dude on the planet...but Isbell is on a whole different level in that each one of his songs tends to be the sum of all human misery and suffering. A huge talent and I like his stuff, but it's hard to sit and listen to him for a prolonged period.
