yearly salary at ESECPN was only just over $81,000 a year? And, for all his contributions to Gameday, they didn't think it was worth keeping him on at that bargain basement price? WOW.

Not sure why everyone on Tigernet loves him. He wasn’t very entertaining so I doubt he will be missed.

I liked Pollack because he talked serious about football and that's how I like to be entertained. McAfee is supposed to be entertaining but he just makes me turn the TV off. Pollack also had much more to offer than that cackling hyena Desmond Howard. Howard says some stupid #### that tells me he doesn't do his homework.

Totally agree. McAfee got some $18M / yr and he is up there as bad as Stephen A Smith in wanting to change the channel.

For the record I don't care for McAfee either. I put Pollack on about the same level as Des. They both provide little to the broadcast.

I also liked him because he seemed more balanced and was much less anti-Clemson than some of his peers, and especially surprising considering he was a UGA alum.

I think most on Tigernet liked him because he played it straight and talked about the game, and didn't clown around for attention. That's what I would prefer. Being goofy or ridiculous is not the only way to have "personality" on that show. Kirk has personality. Rece...not so much I guess.

You are probably too stupid to post on this board. Jesus. What's it take for you to be entertained? Probably a really good conspiracy theory. Gtfooh

You got me. The whole show is pretty boring now so I don't even watch. Just don't get the love everyone has for him.

Lot's of folks would love to make that but I see what you are saying in comparison to some of the others. Probably secretaries for other secretaries making that much at ESPN.

Clemson recruited Pollack very hard he wanted to be a fullback Clemson recruited him for defense. We see where he made his money on defense. i saw him at Clemson several times he was nice young man and really seemed to like the Tigers

I agree. His house on Lake Oconee would indicate otherwise.

Maybe Tigernet should bring him on as an analyst and assistant to David Hood.

I attended a "get back coaching" clinic years ago.
I am holding out for the Oklahoma job. That's the gig all us "get back" coaches want.
Pollock was there. Dion too.

Being only 41 and being a millionaire with a ton of announcing & sports background along with being a Christian bodes well.
Would love him coaching D at Clemson since he tore it up at UGa playing it.

and wouldn't tiptoe around to spare feelings. I didn't always like his take, but prefer a strong statement to wishy wash. Plus he has player experience and insight that is interesting.

I met him on the phone a couple of years ago over business. My impression was that he was genuinely a nice guy. He seemed like a regular modest family man. As I recall he was a talented defensive lineman.
