I've seen middle schoolers tackle better than the louisville D on that last run. Seriously it looked like they were just trying to hug him.

Yea, it was an incredible effort by Cook but the lack of effort by a couple of those Louisville DBs was pretty terrible.

no denying that he's pretty #### good, but the lack of effort on Louisville's part is what gave up the TD.

Can't wait to see us stuff the run against FSU.

UL #92 didn't even try on that play. He gave up. He spurriered.***

I seem to recall a verbal from him at some point in his recruitment. Am I misremembering that or was he coming to us at one point?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yes, he was committed to clemson early in his recruitment.***

I don't know if he ever committed but we were high on his list for a long time. Would have been a great get.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

he committed.***

darn, that's a tough one to not get.

dc committed before his junior season, so early on, but he

Oct 17, 2015, 2:11 PM

was really high on clemson and dabo, or so he said in interviews.

he was "all in" in june of 2012, then not so much a year or so later; it would have been nice to see him wearing the paw[legal issues aside].

For sure. Our offense would be insane right now if he was in the backfield...though there's a good chance that Gallman wouldn't have developed the way he has with Cook in front of him.

If I recall correctly he was also committed to Miami at one point as well, not sure if it was before or after he committed to us

cook is that good; their back ups have talent, but no dc...

Oct 17, 2015, 3:48 PM

not yet anyway. patrick might be something special one day.

golson has been pretty impressive so far and seemingly getting better, but most importantly taking care of the football.

crazy talent on the defense, but they've made their share of busts.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Both Golston and Cook are better than I expected.

Oct 19, 2015, 6:38 AM

I don't watch top teams play cupcakes so this is just the second FSU game I've seen. I watched FSU/UM game to check out Miami and this against UL.

From highlights only I though FSU coaches were protecting Golson with their play calling. I saw some really nice throws from him in both games.
