...shelling out $1K plus to bring the family to a game only to see the Tigers lose in embarrassing fashion is still positive ROI.
...heat he catching is coming in our first mediocre season, and not an ongoing five-year slide.
...he caught off guard by how unmotivated our team is and has been for years.
...that betting Tyler don't have more experience than most of our coaches is a lock.
...on the field performance is not indicative of the strength of program.
...we haven't completely whiffed on the last two QBs, or either our ability to develop them.
...he can drop an absolute monster of a deuce in an office bathroom and tell the next guy coming in, 'Hey man it smells like love in there' and that guy goes in, takes a deep breath, and say, 'That coach Dabo is right. I trust him.'

No Kool Aid. I don't think there's an honest Clemson fan that says we are not down. Dabo is the CEO and should have us closer to the CFP than wondering if we'll make a bowl. Do you think Dabo doesn't realize this? Do you think he's accepted this as our place similar to the end of Bowden's run? Do you think he's not equipped to hire like Venables or promote from within like Elliot any more?
Before you run him off I recommend having someone identified who's better and willing to leave their current job for Clemson.

rather lose games than adapt to a system he finds unethical and immoral, and he will fight tooth and nail to let his experiment ride as long as he can to prove to everyone he can do it. That's why we cut DJ loose and bring on Riley, but don't let him hire any of his own staff while keeping bums like Grisham and Austin.

We'd rather keep what we love most about college football than adapt to NFL-lite, even if it means we're no longer going to be relevant in the CFP. And if that's the way Clemson wants to go, then I'm down for it.
But if that's the way he wants to play it, then he can't tell fans, and especially can't tell recruits and players, that if they work hard they're going to be playing in January. Maybe Dabo thought he could have it both ways, but that's just not the way it worked out, and he needs to let it go.
I want Dabo to stay. But I also want him to adapt, or either come clean about what he intends to do and let the BOT decide if that's the new direction of Clemson football. If he's not going to change, we need to find someone who will.
