It's always good to have your accomplishments in the lights as Fischer has tried to do in this article, but IMO it did read as if Fischer held back in a few instances of not allowing himself to give Dabo his total due.
I think that it's a good character practice that even if the person that you're writing or talking about maybe isn't one of yours, or your readers/listeners favorite people, telling it like it really is without cutting corners is the best way to do those things.
IMO Fischer didn't do that when he brought other coaches from other schools to use as a comparison of Dabo when he should have "IMO" kept it only about Dabo. IMO, if he was wanting to talk about Dabo's accomplishment since becoming the Clemson HC, UNC's Mack Brown or Louisville's Jeff Brohm should have never been given a place in an article that was about Dabo Swinney, just saying....

Yeah, Jeff Brohm has done great in the ACC with TEs and RBs.

I remember this narrative a few years ago when Swinney was the top in developing his players, whereas Jimbo Fisher was at the bottom. The results continue to reflect that reality.

Mack Brown has been a head football coach for 33 years. He has won a total of only
2 conference championships both at Texas during his 16 year run with the Long Horns. Mack has been an ACC head coach at UNC for 14 years and never won a league title. I'd call that a remarkably bad record. But he is a really nice guy, so everyone likes him.
It says something about the genius guys who have run athletics at Texas that they hired a football coach from North Carolina and a basketball coach from Clemson.
