Braylon Staley Commits Tomorrow

Just noticed on 247 that Staley is scheduled to commit tomorrow. Was really hoping he would take his time and we might find room for him. Appears he is down to Tennessee, Miami and UNC. I would hate to see him land at Tennessee.

Yep, Dabo has been consistent in that message, however, if we miss on Matthews, I would think we would take Staley over a fallback plan D, E, F offensive lineman.

well, looks like we are heavily recruiting Taylor instead of Staley, i think staley would be a better fit for us, he is ranked higher than Taylor but i think staley dropped clemson after they two wr and no more comments from coaches..i think taylor is being recruited in my opinion because Matthews is favoring Tenn from most sources , thats my opinon

If we don’t get Matthews we’re all done, Taylor and Staley tried to commit back at the OV but Dabo got the 2 better prospects to commit.

than those other positions and I am not arguing but we are not recruiting any more receivers at all. I think I am surprised that we the fans think we understand it better than Dabo.

I don't know. I am surprised by how much the only two receivers is something on all clemson sits our fans can't 'get'.

Clemson gave Staley an offer in January.

He did nothing with it for 6 months.

2x higher-caliber WR's came on campus in June and committed almost immediately.

Clemson has offered 7x WR's for 2024, 2 are all in. TN has offered 51x - and none have committed.

Might also be worth noting that TN only got 2 WR's from last class of 60 offers....and that was a class that had an 8-million dollar QB tied to it.

Staley screwed the pooch on this one.
